Reflection - A Season of Life

Update 15.11.2023 ... indeed time flies. This post was 1st posted in 2014 ... now soon to be 2024 after next month of festive period Christmas and into the New Year, another New Decade into the future... Many things have changed but my love for animals will still be steadfast..

Time flies .... have not updated my blog for long long time... here's my reflection for the season.

Facing time of uncertainty amidst of an ongoing pandemic storm in the past 2+ years, indeed many things have changed for the things we usually took for granted in the past. Movement restrictions for both domestic and overseas travels, segregation of families, friends, colleagues, disruption of business, supply chains ...etc became so surreal to accept an unseen pathogen could result to an almost standstill all over the world nations. 

Historical chapters of past pandemic events that happened hundreds of years ago suddenly jumped out from history page to be manifested into a live story.. moment by moment, day by day, months by months to years by years ! 

The unfolding events of people fallen sick and soon the multitude of escalating deaths figure broadcasted simultaneously live all over the world thru main news channels, internet multi media, social media and frequent national briefings became the norm and took on a new meaning of fear the unknown.

This post reflect my thought at the beginning of a long 2+ years of the ongoing event and is still an unfolding challenging journey ahead...  will continue my journal... 

Beautiful people of this world, we are all facing a time of great challenges. Do not give up , nothing is permanent in this world be it bad or worst... it shall come to pass. 

The inner human Spirit is the real person of who we are to overcome adversities with the Faith of Hope from our Almighty creator God.

Happy to be back and sharing my view on animal welfare.. but watch this sweet video first .... Past year, have witnessed many volunteers coming forward to help out in animal shelter works, esp the youth and school children alike. These are positive development and it shows that public education by the various group of non profit organisation Animal Shelters in Singapore in proactively highlighting the serious problem of pets abandoment, neglection and stray animals abusement issues are bearing fruit. We must keep the momentum going and stay focus in public awareness education, reaching out to the many schools to reinforce animal welfare messages to create a truely worldclass developed country with a BIG Compassionate Heart, as these school children are our future leaders and contributing citizen. Mahatma Gandhi   once said   “ The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”      I hope that with the on going public

God's other creation.. man's best friend

Hv not been writing for few months... busy busy in the corporate world. I know this is just the same old lame excuses of "no time"..... Sori.. lately doing alots of soul searching with the Lord of what I really want to make my life more fulfilling.... yes, I love all God's creation in man's Best Friend, my little dog.. but I hv this inner struggle that I should shower more love to all animals living in the harsh environment....of a developed nation.. ... whenever I came across strays dogs, cats.. even abandoned rabbits... searching hungrily for scrap food at public eating place, waste bins... etc in our developed country, it really pains me... why in such a developed nation, we are unable to house these strays with a good home and they've to fend for themselves from the weather elements, waiting for the next meal from man's scrap under the dinner table and worse of all the abuse from human...
